Already planned dinner for 4. at La Bella in Oak Park. One of their outstanding Martini's or Manhattan's Up. Baked Clams and Grilled Octopus. For me One of the veal dishes with a side of spaghetti. House-made cakes with limoncello all around.
But haven't really thought about it.

    Likely, my local taqueria.
But Sun Wah BBQ will probably within the first few.

I do not know when this will be. :?:
I'm focusing somewhat on a brewery venue which does not offer food as a method to select a small restaurant near it whose food I can bring in. Of course, this presumes the brewery reopens. :P
It probably won't be this, but consider Alter Brwg. in Downers Grove with something bought near the Metra BNSF Cicero station, or Blue Nose Brwg. in Hodgkins with something from Casciani's Pizza, or Kinslahger Brwg. in Oak Park with an italian beef from Buona, or Rabid Brwg. in Homewood with something from either Uncle John's BBQ or fried chicken from Harold's of Homewood.

At this point, I think that I am going to continue to do my cooking at home. My friends and I have been producing some really good food that in general has been better than a lot of the local restaurants. It will also be great to get back to a situation where we can get 6-8 people together for a meal in our courtyard.

I think that the only food that I have really missed are the quarter pound hamburgers at Carl Jrs.

Who knows how we'll really feel, but how we feel now is in agreement with this. We don't even carry out from places. We've gotten comfortable with having every meal from groceries in the house. We've stopped thinking of it as a fiat and more like a rewarding choice. We'll go to restaurants at some point but it will be far less often than was our custom.

My wife and I have talked about this a good bit and we can't wait to get back to Lula or Cellar Door Provisions. They are both quintessential date night spots for us. Not sure which we will get to first (or if they truly will be the first) but they are going to be high priority for us when they reopen.

Off topic a litle bit, but we carried out the duck dinner from Sun Wah a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious!
