I've only eaten there once, but I was impressed by the Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club. The only presence on LTHForum that I could find was in the openings and closings from 2014. I was there with my family earlier this week. It's near Northside College Prep and Northeastern Illinois University.

First of all this place is seriously cute. It's also bigger than it looks, with a large outdoor patio. We were there on a weekday morning. It was busy but not close to full, but I have the feeling this place gets really crowded on weekends.

There's a Specials board and a fancy coffee area. The food is a mix of diner classics and a couple of Mexican breakfast items. I ordered the Chilaquiles, the Mrs. had oatmeal and the kids had Pancakes and French Toast kid's meals. Chilaquiles were good. I got the Verdes Sauce and they were tangy and crunchy. Oatmeal was delicious and included the usual sides. I loved the texture of the oatmeal, it was tender and chewy. Pancakes were nice a fluffy with a nice rise. I thought the french toast was the best thing though. Somehow they cooked it perfectly for me. Just a little "wet" in the middle; a perfect custardy feel. You can tell that someone cares about the food and the decor.

I'm surprised no one has written this place up before. If I lived closer, I'd be here every weekend.

I live fairly close and I'm there every other weekend (some weeks I'm there more than once). The chilaquiles are a rare miss for me. Just a little too unconventional. Their crab cake benedict, skirt steak skillet and just about every other dish are terrific. A little tough for bigger parties and perhaps the most diverse clientele of any restaurant I've seen.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up for the skirt steak skillet, and their coffee is delicious.
