I'm heading out to catch a Sox game tonight for the first time in a while. Anyone care to refresh me as to the best dining options in and around the park?

I'll be travelling via red line, so I'm limited to where my legs can reasonably carry me.

Thanks in advance on short notice.

The Cell? I think that most folks would send you to Ed's Potsticker House and its semi-secret, Northern Chinese menu. Have fun, and look out for elotes (Mexican corn) at the park.

I like to get a big bag of hot fried Shrimp and Lobster from Southside Shrimp House on 31st. Its much better than anything you'll find in the park.

A pound of shrimp will set you back 12 bucks. A pound of lobster will set you back 14 bucks. It's cheaper and better than ballpark food.

Southside Shrimp is about four blocks west of the Dan Ryan on 31st.

Try Gio's. 27th or 28th and Wallace. Good solid old school Italian in a grocery store setting. Better than the average deli

Good kosher dogs - tho not chicago-style. instead some nice grilled onions and good mustard. Passable Italian Beef (I believe it is Ricobenes)... some days they have good Churros, definitely get the elotes - very tasty.
